Revisit - Puzey’s two-wheeler EVO 50X

It is almost 2 years since we acquired the Puzey’s two-wheeler EVO 50X powerboards. We had a lot of fun with these scooters and did more than 400 Km (250 miles) zooting around all over the place. These scooters are not street legal and we have been careful when riding on public roads - but we have never had any difficulties with authorities nor have the traffic police ever stopped us. Well, that's not quite the whole truth - the fact is that we have been going out of our way to avoid traffic police. We certainly value these scooters and they are quite handy when arriving at destinations where we do not have a vehicle. Although these scooters fold up, they remain awkward to stow and get into the dinghy when going ashore.

The metal parts, bolts and nuts are now showing signs of rust and it is time that we do some maintenance. My good friend Jacque, who have forever owned and worked on motorcycles, is doing the maintenance work. All the metal parts showing rust will be spray painted, all the nuts and bolts will be replaced with stainless steel parts. He will also fit new air filters, replace the chains and do a tune up on the motors.
